ESSMA interviewed Csaba Siklósi, Managing Director at Lagardère Sports Hungary. Lagardère Sports Hungary is the operator of Groupama Arena, host of the sixth ESSMA Summit.

Can you explain the fan card system which is implemented at Groupama Arena?
Our fan card system is a personalised tool for fans to make use off all the stadium services. Fans can enter the stadium with their card and can for example upload money to purchase F&B. It’s an all-in-on card to simplify the matchday experience.
Which trends do you see in terms of hospitality?
More and more people are looking for personalised services. When Groupama Arena opened in 2014, we offered three different hospitality categories. Over the years we have upgraded the hospitality offering and currently VIP guests can choose between six different categories as we want to offer an experience matching the needs of all our guests.

Which initiatives will be implemented in the upcoming years?
Our main focus is going green. With the project ‘Green Stadium’ we want to focus on implementing additional green initiatives including reusable cups and heating the stadium with solar energy in the upcoming years.
